Terms of Service

The terms under which you use Feedbot Cloud at app.feedbot.dev. Self-hosters use Feedbot under the MIT license — see the LICENSE file in the repo.

Plain-English summary. You can use Feedbot Cloud to collect and triage product feedback. We don’t sell your data. You own everything you put into it. We can suspend an account that abuses the service. Either of us can end the relationship at any time. The full version is below.

Feedbot Cloud is operated by the maintainer(s) of feedbot.dev. Self-hosting Feedbot from source is governed by the MIT license in the repository — these Terms apply only to the hosted service at app.feedbot.dev.

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in email under your own control — Feedbot uses passwordless magic-link login, so anyone with access to your inbox can sign in. The account owner can transfer ownership, invite or remove teammates, and delete the workspace at any time from the dashboard.

You agree not to use Feedbot Cloud to:

  • send spam, scams, or unsolicited messages through the Telegram bot;
  • run automated scrapers against the API beyond posted rate limits;
  • store or process content that’s illegal in your jurisdiction or ours;
  • attack, probe, or interfere with the infrastructure of other tenants.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.

You keep all rights to the feedback, projects, replies, and other content you put into Feedbot. We get a limited licence to host, process, and display it to you and your teammates so the service can work. We don’t sell or rent it to anyone.

When you delete your workspace from the dashboard, we cascade-delete every row associated with it within 30 days. Backups follow a 30-day retention window. Audit logs of administrative actions on a deleted workspace are retained for one year for security forensics.

Plans, prices, and limits are listed at /pricing. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; existing paid plans keep their price for the remainder of any billing period already paid. Refunds are handled case-by-case via GitHub Discussions.

Stripe processes all payments. Their terms apply to the payment flow.

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee a specific uptime. The service may have planned maintenance, unplanned downtime, or rate limits applied to abusive traffic. Self-hosting is a fully supported option for teams that need stronger guarantees — see /self-hosting/install.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

We can update these Terms at any time. Material changes are announced on feedbot.dev and via email to the workspace owner at least 14 days before they take effect.
